A new marketing strategy for making money from Facebook is by leveraging on
its app market. If you don’t know yet about Facebook apps, it’s a huge
opportunity to tap into.
Have you realized more and more apps are coming up from Facebook?
Think about Farmville, Cityville, Mafia Wars etc. These are the big players
that made millions to billions with Facebook apps alone. So if you’re not
tapping in this opportunity, I think you’re missing out on this hot, new
trend. Good news is, you don’t even need to develop complicated apps like
these, and just simple apps will do the job. By creating a simple app that
goes viral, you can still make money from Facebook.
How does it works? It’s as simple as developing an app and promoting it!

Here’s an idea for a simple Facebook app that you can create. You could
create a “game app” where users can see what the best games are to play now,
especially Facebook games. The app that you create is not a game app, but an
app that introduces what the best games are to play with in a description of
a few short sentences.
In the picture of your game app, you could put a famous Facebook game picture
or a funny picture. The only reason to put this kind of picture is to make
your app go viral. If you put your brand in as a picture, you can be sure
that your app will not go viral. Unless you happen to be a Farmville owner
where the brand is already well known to many people. Facebook users go
online to have fun, socialize, and play apps. If they see an app that looks
commercial, they will most likely not be sharing your app with their friends.
In the random phrase, you could put all of the current hot games on Facebook.
So whenever users access your app, they can see different titles of hot games
from it. By doing this, you are leveraging the hot Facebook games to help
promote your app. If they like what they see from your app, they can invite
their friends to your app and also post it to their wall.
As you can see, the app concept is really simple and there are so many
opportunities available to create simple apps. I hope this simple Facebook
